This is an old revision of the document!

A personal wiki for my political musings, computer exploits, mathematical writings, and other miscellany. Please create a user account and enjoy the ride. The mark of one's understanding of liberty is their level of acceptance of other people's ignorance.

My current biography:

Jonathan Haack lives by the saying “It is better to have tried and failed than to have succeeded at doing nothing.” Jonathan is currently adjunct faculty at Santa Fe Community College, where he teaches College Algebra, Calculus I, Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry, and Introduction to Software and Hardware. Jonathan does not only teach students about mathematics and computers, but also applies these concepts in the real-world as a systems administrator and general technician at Schaefer IT Consulting. In addition to his work at the College and in the Information & Technology world, Jonathan tutors and consults on mathematics, serves on the Board of Directors of NM Math & Science Partnership, and is currently Treasurer of the New Mexico Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Jonathan holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College (Santa Fe) ’04, a M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction from New Mexico Highlands University ’16, is a Level III secondary endorsed teacher, and has earned his National Board AYA Mathematics Certification ’16. Jonathan is currently a student in the EdD program in Educational Leadership at UNM. He is also a proud father of two young children and a happy husband. In his spare time, he jogs, hikes, studies *nix and free software solutions, and writes about math, politics, philosophy, and more, on his personal wiki.
