#In order to know which disk identifier to use, please run:

diskutil list

#In order to format the volume, please run:

diskutil eraseDisk <filesystemtype> <partitionname> <diskidentifier>
[some common filesystem types: JHFS+, FAT, FAT32]

#Unmount disk, and then write image
